PC-Exclusive Games Confirmed For 2018:

If you’re the one for no compromises then you’re definitely the one who opts for playing exclusive third-party games on PC. No doubt the consoles offer a range of entertaining games with spectacular graphics but the absolute best versions are found on PC. Platforms like Steam & GOG are to be flooded with exclusive games this year by independent developers. To help you keep track of the crazy year ahead of you, we have shortlisted some of our favorites till now.


Xenonauts 2


First on our list doesn’t require a long description. The only words that makes it worth waiting for are strategy, Cold War era & alien invasion. Exactly! As tempted as we are, unfortunately the exact date of the release is yet to be announced but we’re certain this is going to drop in 2018 by Goldhawk interactive developers.

Long Gone Days


This one is for the adventure lovers. An exclusive 2D role playing game that revolves around Rourke, a soldier who sets off for a thrilling journey only to find himself in the midst of an inescapable war. BURA has developed it with classic RPG features but also adding some exciting features from puzzlers, shooters and visual novels. This one’s not too far in the pipeline, scheduled to release sometime in March 2018.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire


Soon after, on April 3rd, 2018, Obsidian Entertainment will bring to you a known name from 2015 featuring an expansive multi-classing system which will enable you to build unique characters. There’s a lot of new features to this one including access to a ship of your own that you can sail through-out the game and upgrade on your way to improve chances of survival.

Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia


Thrones of Britannia is a turn-based strategy game and the date of its arrival is yet to be announced. We love spinoffs and this one is set to come this year from Creative Assembly developers. Total War has been a popular franchise but this one promises to bring something fresh to it by being placed in the aftermath of the Viking invasion of Britain.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries


After 16 years this game will be the very first numbered mainline entry from Piranha Games to be associated with Mech-sim series. Consistent with the classic Mech Warrior feature, you will be able to customize and pilot your own personal Battle Mech in a new conflict. Its scheduled to be released in December this year.

Anno 1800

Another continuation to an already existing series and once again releasing in the winter, Anno 1800 will take its series back to the past unlike the other games. It will allow you to build as well as manage cities during the industrial revolution. It will be more challenging than it sounds as one can expect from Ubisoft Blue Byte developers.

Quake Champions

Ending with this classic Quake style arena shooter game of course with a 2018 twist. It will feature new characters with unique movement speeds, health pools, and a special ability. Id Software hasn’t announced the date yet but this one we’re definitely keeping our eyes open for.
